Expectations of ALL Coaches:

• Be willing to learn and have fun with the kids.
• Exhibit and promote good sportsmanship at all times.
• Be a good role model to the parents and for our kids.
• Attend 2 coaches meetings each year.  Approximately the last Saturday in August and the first Saturday in April.  Exact dates will be communicated as we get closer to that time.  If you can not attend you are required to have your assistant coach or a parent represent your team.
• Hold 2 parent meetings shortly after the coaches meeting to communicate relevant information out to all parents.
• Obtain some form of coaching certification within 18 months of volunteering to be coach.  Minimum of USSF F or NSCAA Level 1 Diploma.  All coaching education is 100% paid by WUSC.

Additional Expectations of Travel Coaches Only:

• Attend the Coaches clinic held by EHYSL at the end of March.
• All 3 meetings are MANDATORY.  If you cannot attend you are required to have your assistant coach or parent represent your team.
• For each meeting missed, $100 will be deducted from your tournament and training fund.
